My name is Sasha Neschastnova, I am a contemporary Russian artist. I live and work in Moscow. Born in 1993 in the city of Voronezh. I participate in various group exhibitions and projects. I have a higher architectural education. My works are in private collections around the world. I collaborate with the Mexican gallery "Hector Diaz."
Through my paintings and drawings, I can visually express the main feelings, ideas and themes that are relevant and important to many. I show the viewer the pros of everyday life with a bit of humor and sarcasm. A provocative and shocking art that shows different aspects of life and evokes emotions in anyone. I visualize the idea and show it by means of painting and drawing. Art is an integral part of my life, I paint, because I can’t help but paint, it is a part of me.
I focus my art on provocation, I try to make it impact showing a scandalous but true reality. As is often the case, it is customary to remain silent. Modern society advances at the rhythm of technology, beautifies and displays daily life ... but love, passion, need, remain the same.
My artistic style is "Neo erotic" and what I call "Domestic eroticism", however my paintings contain a bit of humor and sarcasm. Eroticism concerns us all, as well as life. The themes of my series are daily life, especially the position of women and men in their relationships, the refutation of established stereotypes; how the modern world and its foundations affect the relationships between the closest people.
My technique is mainly oil, instead of a pencil I prefer ink for the sketch, wich complements the style with chaos. I refute all the laws of near and distant objects in the composition. I don't mix colors on the palette, thereby creating a certain facet, everything in my paintings is on the same plane, creating a separate world of our superficial stereotypical opinion in life.
There are many symbols hidden in my paintings, for example the colors and the pattern, which I consider essential. I work with bright and contrasting colors, as the main perception of the human psyche. The perception of color and composition affects the understanding of the plot, this helps me transmit an unlimited love for everything. Avoiding the plot and people give a subtle and naive connotation, without vulgarizing the essence of the idea. My paintings lack faces, so that everyone can imagine there, I don't paint a specific person, I want you to project yourself there.
The themes that are showed in my paintings carry an emotional and psychological connotation. I am looking for the border of understanding and reaction in people's different life situations ... social topics of everyday life ... standard non-global problems of everyone ... analysis of topics and collection of information that excites people, relevant topics in modern society. Household erotic themes of everyday life that no one wants to talk about. Departing from the stereotypical thinking of society and the standard, banal perception of ordinary life. Unconditional love of life is what we should experience. The problem of hatred everyday life lies within ourselves, in our stereotyped, imposed perception of life. Relations between people is an art. The position of women and men in relations in society has not yet been fully considered. I reject the standard idea of life, of eroticism, of everyday life. Household erotica with sarcasm. The irony of all situations. Why are people so afraid of this, thus fearing themselves?
Art is my main point. I live it. My goal is to show more and more interesting collections to people, to cover a variety of topics that concern almost everyone, but no one talks about it. Show the audience another art, as if about each of you. Provide a basis for reflection. In each of my work I put all of myself completely, my whole soul. After all, art cannot exist without a soul.
